Taking Care of Business
The first course of business is to make sure that any / all domains that fall under the DC Hero & Co. umbrella are taken care of
financially. This will be accomplished by always keeping a cash reserves of 3 months operating expenses in the bank. |
Bookkeeping |
The only real way to know how much cash is necessary is to keep good books. Quickbooks by Intuit will be used, and regular assesments by our
accountant to make sure that everything is being kept up correctly. |
Seperation of Domains
Part of fiscal responsibility is to not rob from peter to pay paul ... or more to the point, each domain's expenses and revenues will be tracked and
accounted separately and spent in like fashion. |
Taking care of the Staff.
Most of what goes on out here is volunteer work and the exact type of work varies greatly from domain to domain. In all supported domains an
endevour to take care of the key staff in some fashion will be devised. Since the domains will differ greatly, so will the renumeration differ greatly. |
Expansion |
The axiom in life is: "You are either moving forward or moving backwards ... there is no standing still". For these ventures to be successful
all domains under the DC Hero & Co. umbrella must strive to be moving forward and expanding their services to meet the needs of the community in which they support. Not only will current domains/services strive to
improve themselves, but new domains/ventures will be opened when it makes sense. |
Giving Back to the Community
All services that fall under the DC Hero & Co umbrella will be focused on serving the community and filling a need. This is one way that the
domains will give back to the community they serve. Another way may be things such as free web space or promotional items such as T-Shirts or Baseball Caps or other items of memoriabile. In some cases there might
even be Cash or Prize give aways for different things. |
